Warranty

It is possible that the wooden components in your Lifespan Swing Set may have imperfections. These include surface cracks, knot holes and knots that are entirely natural characteristics of wooden play equipment and other wooden products. Imperfections that do not affect the overall structural integrity of the product are not covered under our warranty.

Installation

If you are not the do-it-yourself type of person and don’t want to get your hands dirty, Lifespan Swing Sets offers in home installations by our installers. Our friendly installers are professionally trained and certified and are willing to assist you with any of your issues.

Maintenance/Service

In order to keep you swing set looking great it is important that you regularly clean and maintain your swing set. Cleaning your swing set is quite a simple process. Generally, you can clean your swing set just like any other outdoor furniture. Hosing down the swing set is appropriate to removing general dirt and debris. However, it is recommended that you do not use high pressure when washing the wooden components.

We also recommend that you maintain your swing set. On a regular basis do simple inspections to ensure the swing set remains safe for your children. This includes watching out for loose nuts and bolts, sharp edges that can cause injury and checking that the set is still stable by yanking it in every direction. Also you must check for cracks on metal and plastic hardware whilst making sure metal components to not rust away and break down. If any of these problems do occur, suspend the use of the swing set until it is fixed.

Annually, it is advised that you re-tighten up all screw and bolts. Applying sealant can be done from once every year to one in four years depending on the weather sealant you buy and the climate. Sealant is applied by either brushing or spraying. Spraying is the quickest option however it will be less precise than brushing. Be sure to allow time for the sealant to dry before letting your kids play on the swing set.
